Financial aid and jobs

K-State awarded over $200 million in student aid last year. You may qualify for grants that do not need to be repaid or low-interest loans. You can also boost your resume and earn money to pay for tuition with a campus job or work-study position.

About the FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, determines how much your family can afford based on income and assets. Fill out the FAFSA to see if you qualify for financial aid. March 1 is the priority deadline, and K-State's school code is 001928.

Military benefits

Financial assistance is available for military members and veterans. Military Advanced Education and G.I. Jobs magazines rank K-State as one of the most military-friendly universities in the country.

Work study

Earn $2,000 to $6,240 a year by working 10 to 30 hours a week on campus in awork-study position. The federal government and campus employer pay your salary if you meet income requirements.

Campus jobs

Earn $1,920 to $5,760 a year by working 10 to 30 hours a week on campus in a part-time job, available for those who do not qualify for work-study positions.
