Aviation Maintenance Management
As the nation's aircraft fleet steadily expands, so does the need for maintainers. All aircraft maintenance must be performed or supervised by FAA- certified mechanics.
K-State Salina's aviation maintenance curriculum is certified by the FAA under Federal Aviation Regulation Part 147. Graduates become certified airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanics after passing the FAA's written, oral and practical exams.
